# ARCHITECTURE

Exploring the building blocks.

As stated before, Proximus Protocol is powered by AI and blockchain technologies. It consists of a network hub (basically, smart contracts) that enables the creation of immutable avatars that can be utilized in the application layer that leverages this layer and are tradeable on a decentralized AI marketplace.
